Draw a wall
Draw a wall
You’ll draw the static geometry that guides a ball — a straight segment first, then a curve. Walls are the third thing the Object Editor places, alongside devices and lamps.
- Press E to open the Object Editor.
- Click the Wall ▾ tile in the Tools palette, then click it a second time to open its drill-down.
- Choose Segment, then drag across the playfield to draw a straight wall.
- Choose Spline and click to drop anchors along the curve you want; press Enter or right-click to finish.
- Click either wall to select it. The inspector shows its endpoints, Thickness, Height, and — for the curve — Samples/seg; drag the handles in the scene to reshape it.
You should see — a ball fed down that side of the table deflect off the new wall instead of passing through where it used to.
To make several walls behave as one piece, select two or more and use Merge (union) from the context menu — or Subtract (A − B) on exactly two to cut a notch. Press Esc or right-click to cancel a wall you’ve started but don’t want.
